Desert Places
Snow falling and night falling fast, oh, fast
In a field I looked into going past,
And the ground almost covered smooth in snow,
But a few weeds and stubble showing last.
The woods around it have it—it is theirs.
All animals are smothered in their lairs.
I am too absent—spirited to count;
The loneliness includes me unawares.
And lonely as it is that loneliness
Will be more lonely ere it will be less—
A blanker whiteness of benighted snow
With no expression, nothing to express.
They cannot scare me with their empty spaces
Between stars—on stars where no human race is.
I have it in me so much nearer home
To scare myself with my own desert places.
- Robert Frost-
There is no Frigate like a Book
There is no Frigate like a Book
To take us Lands away
Nor any Coursers like a Page
Of prancing Poetry-
This Traverse may the poorest take
Without opress of Toll-
How frugal is the Chariot
That bears the Human soul.
- Emily Dickenson-
I Am Not Yours-Sara Teasdale
I am not yours, not lost in you,
Not lost, although I long to be
Lost as a candle lit at
noon,
Lost as a snowflake in the
sea.
You love me, & I find you
still
A spirit beautiful & bright?
Yet I am I, who long to be
Lost as a light is lost in
light.
Oh plunge me deep in
love-put out
My senses, leave me deaf
&blind
Swept by the tempest of
your love,
A taper in a rushing wind.
Some women choose to follow men, and some women choose to follow their dreams. If you’re wondering which way to go, remember that your career will never wake up and tell you that it doesnt love you anymore.

Now that the last few months of senior year are coming to an end,
and people are coming clean
about just how much
they hate each other?
I guess the students of OP are made of more colors than just blue and gold.
You know the one thing that’s wrong with this country? Everyone gets a chance to have their fair say
